Hands Across The Nations

About Us

Hands Across the Nations is a multi-faceted, performing arts organization committed to the spiritual uplifting and empowerment of women and their families. Rooted in the teachings and liberating message of Jesus Christ, Hands Across the Nations is inspired to advance the critical role of women in spiritual and social leadership. Though Ceil and Han come from different countries, generations, and vastly diverse backgrounds, they have united to help pave the highway for future generations of women and their families.

East Meets West

Han was born in Saigon, Vietnam. At fifteen months old, she and her family were among the first boat people to flee from Saigon on the day it fell to the communists. Han was a first generation immigrant, and became a citizen of the United States of America in 1985. She grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana and later moved to Austin, Texas.

While establishing her career in the high-tech industry, a personal tragedy marked the beginning of a spiritual life change for Han. Having experienced redemption from a scarred past and a deeply broken spirit, Han encourages everyone to never underestimate the power of their Spirits, and that true beauty can rise from out of the ashes.

Ceil was born and raised in Saint Louis, Missouri. She learned to sing and play several musical instruments while growing up in her father’s church. At the age of sixteen, Ceil ventured out to begin her singing career. She has sung in several different countries and had a top ten record on the country music charts in the late seventies. Ceil retired from a full-time music career after a total of twenty-six years.

Though she enjoyed a life a wealth, fame, and success, Ceil still felt a deep void in her life. She returned to her roots and began exploring a spiritual life. She has since reconciled her musical past with her spiritual renewal and is now celebrating and sharing the power of her spirituality through the Arts.

Mission Statement

The mission of Hands Across the Nations is to demonstrate and promote spiritual health and healing through the Arts. With a message of love, encouragement, and empowerment… hearts are touched, lives are changed, and Spirits are set free.
